If hired, how long until I can start making money?

For this Division of Buffett Senior Healthcare Corp., it is imperative that you read this website in its entirety to avoid the phenomenon of “selective reading”, thus leading to confusion regarding the requirements of the position. Doing this will make your interview process much more meaningful to you, as not doing this will likely disqualify you from being offered a position.
The majority of new hires with Buffett Senior Healthcare® that have the shortest Learning Curve and quickly become among the highest sales producers are those that pass their state examination and are ready to start their initial BSH classroom and field training in two weeks or less. There is no mystery as to why. Obviously, these individuals are highly driven and are exceedingly motivated to secure their position with us. There is no wonder why they surpass their initial learning curve the fastest and make far more sales quicker than those that procrastinate. If hired for a position with us, to secure an exclusive sales territory will require that you have become licensed by a given deadline. This is determined by the remaining available positions in an area, as well as the number of other candidates in line that desire the same exclusive territory.
This is further explained in detail if qualified for a 2nd interview with BSH.
As already stated previously on this website, a new hire cannot make sales with BSH until they are licensed. Thus, the answer to this question is a new hire cannot start making money until he/she is licensed.
For more information, refer back to the “Advantages” section of this website.

Can I talk to someone in the field?

YES, absolutely!!! We encourage all interviewees to talk to other field producers. If qualified for a 2nd personal one-on-one interview with a manager over your state, then that is the time to make that request!
You may also click the following link, TALK TO A BSH FIELD PRODUCER, and send a message request to talk to a field producer (for your own protection do NOT put your phone number or email address in your text message since it is a public site) and give your name, city, and state. Expect a private (hidden from public) reply back to you within 3-5 business days from a producer(s) closest to your area providing you their phone number and/or email address for you to contact them directly. They will do their best to answer any questions and/or concerns you may have.

Does BSH offer health benefits or a 401K?

BSH associates have available to them a vast portfolio of health, life, and dental insurance for themselves and for the families. Our organization has the highest commission level contracts with several of the best insurance companies in the nation for these types of coverage. Since BSH associates are all licensed, we allow our associates to sell these policies to themselves and/or their families at the same commission rate that BSH is paid as an organization. Thus, this dramatically reduces the overall cost to them taking the full commission and renewals paid to them that BSH is provided less the true cost of the premium for their coverage.

After a associate has been on staff for 90-days, they do have the option of setting up a retirement account through the company that BSH will usually match or match X 2 depending on the benefit option chosen.

How long until I can retire from BSH with six-figure residuals?

In the BSH Exclusive Territory Preset Appointment Division, working only as a full-time base level field producer for 5 years, it is virtually impossible for an individual not to be earning well over $100,000 per year SOLELY in residual income should that person decide to retire from BSH and enjoy the fruits of their hard-earned labor. The most exciting aspect of residual income in our division of BSH is that these residuals can literally continue earning at this level for years after retirement before they begin to slowly decrease as their policyholders reach mortality. We take the residual income benefit of working with Buffett Senior Healthcare® very serious, as it is the core foundation of our short & long term financial security.
The catch is, are you the right person for a position with us? Are we a fit for success together? After all, aren’t we both wondering, “Are you for real?”. See, that is why we have the in-depth interview process we do. It is for our best interest the same as it is for your best interest. We will only hire the right person (assuming they are being honest during their interview process) and, if offered, we trust only the right person would accept a position with us. That is furthermore evident in the requirement we have in place that even if you were offered a position with us, we will not allow you to accept the position for 24 hours. Unlike most, “insurance salesperson interviews”, our interview style is to focus more on the downsides versus the “blue sky” and if you make it that far in the process, then you will know why. You may not like what you hear, but at least you will get the truth (although many seem to have selective hearing!).
As is hopefully by now painfully redundant for you to read… this is explained in full detail if granted the opportunity for a 2nd personal one-on-one interview with a manager over your state. You will then be given the passcode(s) to access the “FULL Income Breakdown” on the top right side of this site. At that time, together, you and your state’s hiring manager will go through that breakdown. By then, you will have a vivid understanding of exactly how residual income with BSH works and why it is the #1 reason we have virtually no turnover after the 3rd month on staff with us.
However, for the time being, the easiest thing you could do is go back to the “Advantages” tab and click on BSH Associate Renewal / Residual Income (#8). Then, with a calculator in hand, read the section of this page in blue font and following the example given, start doing the math after the 10th month and continue 36th month all the way to the 60th month (remember, that example is assuming that you do not get ANY better after your 3rd month on staff!). Enjoy.

All Buffett Senior Healthcare Corp. positions in this division are reserved for ONLY THE RIGHT PERSON!

Anyone can get a contract with us, VERY, VERY few get the position this site is describing to include the preset appointments, the training, continual training, support, advancement opportunities, high-high volume of sales, Exclusive Territories, etc…

The particular BSH Division position about which this website is describing is NOT for most people and certainly only offered to the very few.

What are the benefits to Potential Overnight Travel?

TRAVEL IS WHY MANY INDIVIDUALS ARE NOT THE RIGHT PERSON IN THIS BUFFETT -DIVISION!
Simply put, travel for newer associates is based on how quickly they accepted and assumed their offered position, where they live, their level of sales volume once in the field, and their overall tenure on staff. All preset appointments are set in/around the same general vicinity of each associate’s territory every week and all associates are eligible for up to $500.00 per week Expense Reimbursement Pay.
If an associate is offered an exclusive territory that is within a commutable distance to their home, it is important to understand that BSH can only hold that territory for them for so long. BSH is growing fast and is under contract to expand our carriers’ product distribution across the entire United States. Furthermore, to keep up with the heavy demand for our products and services from the continually growing senior market, BSH is in the process of quickly filling positions in all available territories. Therefore, newly hired associates must be given deadlines to pass their licensing test, complete their initial new associate training, and assume their position. Should a new hire not meet his/her given deadlines by the manager over their state, then the next qualified applicant for the position desiring that territory will be granted it. That does not mean the original hired associate will lose the position offered to them with BSH. Rather, this means he/she may not have an exclusive territory that is 100% commutable to their home year-around.
It is important to understand, generally-speaking, the rule in regards to where our appointments are set is as follows: The more rural the appointments, the higher sales volume an associate will make. This is true for several reasons. One, rural areas have a higher need because there is less product availability. Two, rural prospects are often times more open to listen and trust the benefits we offer them due to being less wary of being taken advantage of by the unethical sales practices of other organizations (be it in our industry or other industries), which unfortunately is much more commonplace in urban areas. Three, there is far less competition in rural areas, thus making sales is easier. Four, urban areas have a large socio economic variance meaning that appointments are often times more difficult for a newer associate to sell, as they will run up against many different sorts of customer circumstances, of which they are not yet accustomed to handling regularly. Five, the cost of healthcare in rural areas is usually markedly less expensive, meaning the cost of our products are typically much more affordable. This means easier sales and less buyer remorse cancellations for obvious reasons. These basic reasons (among others) is why BSH will usually start a new associate that lives in a metropolitan area on appointments beginning two counties and continuing beyond, outside of the urban population. In summary, the more urban area an associate lives, the greater likelihood a newer associate may have to work part of their time on preset appointments in areas of their territory that could involve travel beyond a 90-mile radius and potentially into overnight travel during their initial Learning Curve phase.
After a new associate has overcome their Learning Curve (30 – 90 days), they are given the option to select which part of their exclusive territory they wish to work each week/month. At this point, some associates elect to work closer to their home to reduce any possibility of overnight travel or long-distance commutes. Now, having become well-experienced with their products and how to properly secure a high-volume of weekly/monthly sales, they are able to handle many of the more difficult sales circumstances involved with working urban areas. On the other hand, many associates elect to remain or return to the rural areas of the territory and accept the travel in exchange for the higher level of sales and income. At this point, it is a matter of preference, as long as that associate is maintaining a level of production to keep them on preset appointments (refer to the “First-Year Average BSH Associate Incomes” section of this website for more details).
